Education
Raw and virgin hair are looked after differently. Vietnamese Straight follows the raw hair routine; Caribbean Curly follows the virgin hair routine.

Vietnamese Straight
01
Wash every 8 to 10 wears. Use a sulphate-free shampoo and cool water, stroke downward through the length, and never bunch or scrub near the weft. Rinse until the water runs clear.
02
Condition mid-length to ends only, leave for three to five minutes, then rinse cool. A weekly lightweight mask keeps the hair supple; heavy butters will weigh a straight texture down.
03
Press water out with a cotton t-shirt rather than rubbing. Air-dry where possible. Always use a heat protectant and stay under 180°C — one pass is usually enough.
Caribbean Curly
01
Wash every 6 to 8 wears, or sooner with heavy product use. Shampoo the wefts and roots, then let the suds run through the length. Work in two or three sections so the curl doesn't tangle.
02
Detangle only when wet and loaded with conditioner, using fingers or a wide-tooth comb from the ends upward. Leave-in conditioner or curl cream on damp hair keeps the pattern defined.
03
Scrunch out water with a cotton t-shirt and air-dry, or diffuse on low. Don't brush dry curls — it breaks up the pattern. Keep heat under 180°C with protectant; expect two to four inches of shrinkage when worn natural.
All textures
01
Braid loosely or twist and cover with a satin bonnet or pillowcase. Friction, not styling, is what shortens the life of good hair.
02
Between installs, wash, dry fully, and store flat in the bag it arrived in. Never store damp.
03
Treat lace gently: cleanse around the hairline, avoid pulling on the knots, and remove adhesive fully before washing so the lace stays soft.
